ABOUT THE PBF
The Professional Beauty Federation (PBF), an organization of professional salon industry companies and associations, works to promote and improve the professional salon industry as it relates to the government laws and regulations. Members include the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, Great Clips, International Salon/Spa Business Network, JCPenney Salons, Professional Beauty Association, OPI Products and Regis Corporation.
PBF’s members see 400 million client visits per year. PBF represents 27,000 independent and chain salons employing 270,000 licensed professionals, 1,200 cosmetology schools, 80,000 cosmetology students, 400 product distributors and 700 manufacturers of products sold only in salons.
